Fcat Reading could be one of the hardest subjects in the entire test, half of the students dont score high enough to go onto the next level in their school year. To prevent that from happening to your child review the following:

• Read the passage carefully.
• Look at the pictures and graphics to help you understand the passage.
• Read each question carefully and be sure to answer what is being asked.
• Go back to the passage for clues to help you answer the question.
• If you are asked to write your answer, be sure to include details from the passage.
• Write so that others can understand what you mean.
• Check your answers.

if students have trouble understanding the passages in the reading, then they should seek teacher help or go to the tutors offerd at school.
