Orlando Lassus was born 1532 inMons, Hainaut in Belgium he composed church and secular voice music. When Lassus was almost nine years old, he became soprano in the choir of the church of St. Nicholas. Young Lassus was so talented and had a very beautiful voice that he was abducted three times.he wrote at least 70 songs his entire carreer.

wolfgang amadeus Mozart was born January 27, 1756 he was one of 7 children, but only two survived. Mozart is one of the most important classical composers in history. He worked as Kapellmeister for the archbishop of Salzburg where he was born.At age 3 Wolfgang was already playing the piano and had perfect-pitch. on December 5 he died of kidney failure.

Dizzy Gillespie was born October 21, 1917.His full name is John Birks Gillespie, one of the founding fathers of jazz and one of the inventors of bebop. He was a trumpeter known for his trademark of puffing out his cheeks while playing the trumpet. Gillespie was also a composer and bandleader. He was nicknamed "Dizzy" for his amusing antics on stage.his father was a band leader but dizzy taught himself to play the trumpet and trombon at the age of 12. one interesting fact is that Gillespie was the only one who played a trumpet with the bell turned upwards at a 45-degree angle, many others liked the way it sounded so now all trumpets are made the same.
